✓ I base my lessons around the curriculum and aim to cover the topics that students have covered within the week in order to help consolidate their knowledge.

✓ I start off by identifying the common misconceptions around topics to ensure there are no gaps in understanding.

​

✓ I use plenty of exam question practice from the start so that students begin to build their abilities and confidence around questions that can feel daunting. I set homework each week based around exam questions.

​

✓ I apply my knowledge of how to keep students engaged to ensure that topics are approached in a relatable and interesting way to help the information 'stick'.

​

✓ I am patient, calm and genuinely interested in helping students to understand the underlying concepts behind difficult Scientific topics.

​

✓ I strongly believe in building a positive and comfortable working relationship with all of my students so that they can get the best out of the time we have together - no question is too big or too small.

​

✓ I love working with students of all abilities -  I ensure that individual questions are differentiated to the appropriate level for the students I am working with to ensure the appropriate level of challenge.

✓ I am always refreshing my pedagogy in order to keep my lessons as effective and engaging as possible.
